Pleasure to watch this lad play. Being a cat fan he does remind me of a young Jimmy Bartel at times

Amazing they couldn't fit him in the all Australian side, went at 90% effiency last night pretty good for some one that is supposed to be suspect with his disposal pretty much turned the game in the second quarter, loved his response when they give him the red vest, his face said it all.

I wonder if Fyfe was ever shown clips of Lyons face after he missed those two shots at goal in last years GF?....seems like Rosco was subtly getting some pay back on young Nathan ......good win by Freo too....Fyfe is a class act tho, can't blame Ross for looking after the kid....plenty more games left to play in 2014!

Agree he is an awesome player, and someone you just enjoy watching even if you don't go for Fremantle (which is exactly like Bartel, love watching him play). I don't like the comparisons to Hird that they keep bringing up though, we are yet to see Fyfe as a drug cheat....

Hopefully fremantle can keep him beyond 2014 as his contract is up this year and he is delaying talks.

hahaha....very amusing comment re drug cheat soprano..i enjoyed that. Fyfe is a good Aquinas boy...he'll stay at Freo imo.

I suspect Fyfe is typical of most footy players and wanted to continue playing; hence his reaction.

Amazingly according to a few scribes in the Eastern States it wasn't Pavlich's fault, Mayne's fault, Fyfe's fault that the Dockers lost the GF; it was exclusively Ballantyne's fault that they lost the GF.

Agree with you BC he will stay at Freo long term.

Ballantyne did have a shocker, but pinning the whole thing on him? Wow. As much as I hate him, and was sort of glad he did have a shocker, not even I could place the blame solely on him. It was a combined team effort. But hey, they will be better for it for this year and will definitely be looking to go one better, and will be hard to beat (I have tipped them to win it).

I think Fyfe staying injury free will be a big part of their success this year, no doubt he is going to get tagged, but it is such a hard job to tag someone like him, it is like tagging adam goodes who can go deep forward and outmark the usually smaller tagger. Fyfe being a WA boy could work in Freo's favour about him staying, but then again Ablett is as Geelong as you get....
