I watched almost all the two tests and have been amazed to see De Villiers taking the ball and rubbing it with his gloves, not occasionally but on many occasions. Is there something on his gloves,of an abrasive nature?
It astounds me that all other nations that play seem to have a better grip on reverse swing than our bowlers. Are we missing something?
Lets not forget, the bottle tops, the sand in the pocket, the sweets, the zipper treatment just recently.
Maybe I am just looking for an excuse for such a miserable performance during the last test, but maybe Warner is onto something.

Dave Warner...seriously a/man, something he DOESNT HAVEis a brain

Maybe I don't have a brain either, but I ask the same question as what Warner did, purely by what I saw.

Ohhh it looks so lame, after a huge loss. Wonder IF they had got over the line if he would have said anything? Im sure THAT sort of questioing should come from Clarke or Lehman, not some half wit. It loses nearly all credibility when it comes from him

SA may have a case to answer from what I saw on TV tonight, but why is that Dave Warner is the one that has to bring it up? Isn't it up to the captain to ask the q's?

Unka,I take it that you know Mick and know of his intellect! You know him personally and you can say for sure he is no mental giant!!!Or is it supposition?

Doesnt matter, a brick has more brains than warner, so doesnt matter how clever or dum malthouse is

Warner's a tosser. The only way he makes runs is because he gets 9 lives a game. I've never seen anyone get so many.

if the aussies had a genuine concern they should have raised it with the match referee behind closed doors and not had Warner come out in the press. to me it sounds like they're just trying to stir the jaapies up with a calculated strategy before a critical test to take their mind off the job rather than airing a legitimate question about fair play.

Funny how Warner hasn't been gagged by the ACB yet, I think he's been used as a mouth piece to get under the oppositions skin it worked with the Poms, and its not like the Saffers havn't had this brought up before I may be wrong but one of the SA players may have been fined for ball tampering, anyway regardless of the way he comes across he's the most consistent Australian batsmen going around at atm.

Warner may be an idiot, but he can play cricket, and his cricket brain isnt too bad. Maybe he was the only one querying it, maybe he went to Clarke, who (as you guys have too) dismissed him as a halfwit. If I was in the same situation, I would voice my concern.
