Well The Valley and Canning disappointed most tipsters with the other games going with the money as they say! It was a cracking game at The Valley with the home side getting away to a good start only for SNESA to fight back. There wasn't much in it for most of the game with both teams playing some nice end to end footy. SNESA got out to a two goal lead with 5 minutes to go, The Valley got two quick ones to take a 4 point lead with a couple of minutes left on the clock. SNESA got consecutive free kicks (Both there by the way!) the second about 40 out and the player made no mistake, the siren blew as the umps were about to restart play! A good contest between two sides who will trouble some of the top sides on their day in the run home.
Mosman Park continued their fine run with a convincing win at home to Canning. Mossies are now a real threat for the flag, can't wait until they play Quinns again in two weeks!
Bassendean blew away Canningvale who once again failed against a fellow top five opponent. Their finals position could well be in jeopardy if Bassendean continue to win. That is a big question in itself given Basso's topsy turvy form!
As predicted Warnbro bounced back in style against Manning and Quinns disposed of Kenwick, albeit much more easily than most expected.
