What's the back story to the Buddy booing saga? Was there an incident that warranted booing during the game like an illegal hit or just feral racial Bogans? The booing of JHF is ridiculous just because he left one club for another. Justified by NM supporters as long as it doesn't go on everytime they play PA.

Same with Freo supporters booing of Andrew Gaff 5 years after the event.

What's with Barry Humphries family wanting a state funeral in Sydney not Melbourne? Wasn't it Melbourne where he grew up and referred to life in Melbourne in his satire send ups? Maybe he resided in Sydney later in life and is being laid to rest there.

DD, I haven't heard Buddy saying much about it, it's mainly the media, the clubs and the coaches. Buddy is a champion by any measure and sections of the Pies fans have form when it comes to booing oppo players especially the indigenous ones, those involved are proper scumbags.

As to BH, he spent much of his life living in GB, so not too sure, maybe it was the Vic comedy festivals disrespectfully woke decision to take his name off the comedy award that made Sydney more appropriate for his family.
