Wouldn’t ask anyone from the WAFC to organise a 3 year olds birthday party. Negotiating multi million dollar stadium funding, billion dollar TV rights deals etc is well outside any of their capabilities.

Everything in that article makes sense, except to the AFL, they want more teams with more games for one reason, to satisfy their masters which are Ch7, Fox footy and Kayo. 16 teams means 8 games per week so less content, 20 teams means more content and a bigger broadcast deal. But the inevitable drop in standard will see viewers drop off, so it kills the goose which means no golden egg.
