I have over 100 logged night dives in the river around the Bay area and not once did I every come close to a bully. We did get asked by others a few times if we were worried about them but with 1 attack ever it wasn't something we thought of. We did dive with a shark shield just in case. One of my dive buddies has been diving the Bay for over 10 years and never once encountered a shark.
