Trying not to make this enquiry look like an advert but we are looking at something different for our holidays as we aren't prepared to step out of WA for the next few years and are looking for feedback on some of the off the beaten track places like Berkeley river lodge, Faraway Bay or any other spots of interest?

Well despite comments to the contrary tourist operators all around WA seem to be booked and are flat out to such an extent that even the free parks up north a often full most of the time.

2 friends have just returned from the drive  up the centre to Darwin back into WA and down through Broome etc and struggled to get into anything other than free ones and overflows at the town oval, thoroughly enjoyable but a bit of fun at river crossings with the traffic.
