Just curious who people think is the best thoroughbred racecaller currently calling in Australia?

I never picked you as a fan of the nags swan. Must have big pockets.

Did you mean the Melbourne caller Matt Hill or the Queensland caller Josh Fleming?

I like Adelaide's caller Brett Davis and Darren McCaullay. 

Historically, I would list Max Simmonds, John Tapp as two of the best.  Agree with respect to PA  for the dogs.

I think Matt Hill is pretty good, he generally gets it right, and with the big fields in Melbourne he is usually all over anything flying down the outside to get there late.

I also Like Darren McCaullay, he does a good job

I am surprised you didn't include Lionel Lewis BH.

I remember Jim Chadwick was a prominent race caller at the races in the 70's, possibly early 80's. George was brilliant at the trots.

Yep totally agree DD, I somehow missed the great man.
Jimmy was a superb caller on Ch7 back in the 1980s both the trots and races.
