After the year we and our respective families and friends have had to endure I hope we fair better in 21.

Whilst not being directly effected here in WA my son is in London and reckons that folk in Australia don't really realise how lucky we are!

He is safe, has a great Aus employer, a great circle of Aus friends which means he is safe as he can be!

Make sure you say hello to anyone you walk past it does mean a lot (even WP supporters).
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Happy New Year to you and all WAFL supporters. Like you we have family in London and our daughter and husband welcomed the arrival of another grandson three months ago. Whilst we haven’t made our annual pilgrimage to the UK in 2020 we do have a weekly chat via Whatsapp on our TV each week. Like your son they have shared their COVID experiences and both are fortunate that their employers have allowed them to work from home since March. We are indeed a lucky country not to have shared the dreadful COVID that has been faced overseas.

Same to you Grump although it's stretching it a bit too far to include WP supporters for mine. B)

Yes very much so, and hoping 2021 is a better year.
I too had a family member working overseas and thanking the many heavens, they returned home with no problems in the first quarter of 2020. Another family member is in the eastern states and thankfully everyone is well.
We are lucky here in WA. Not sure of others, I certainly don't take things for granted. In other parts of the world, one has to wonder how the situation got out of control?
Stay safe peoples, and hopefully this time next year the damn virus is a distant memory.

Hope all here on Oz Footy had a great NYE celebration....definitely seemed very surreal sitting in a packed theatre here in Christchurch on NYE watching Jersey Boys, then into the Christchurch CBD for a meal and enjoying the NYE festivities, whilst else where COVID restrictions were in place for others less fortunate... Only time I have felt lucky to be living in NZ..LOL....

like Custy and Grump and no doubt many others here, our thoughts and best wishes go out to family and friends in not only the UK, but other parts in the world less fortunate then folk living in Aust and NZ right now...touch wood 2021 is a prosperous year for all concerned....even for those boys down living the life of WCE in the Lathlain precinct....
