The Covid-19 outbreak in Sydneys northern beach suburbs has reached 90 infections. The whole of the affected area is in total lockdown.The GOLD standard in covid-19 response has fallen flat on its face.The idea of tracing down positive cases instead of just keeping the virus out.
The NSW premier is considering reopening the area prior to Xmas.We have seen the P+O debacle and no border sanctions on SA,a few weeks back.Now an airline crew bus driver delivering the crew from there hotels to the airport.Not wearing PPE has contracted the virus off an airline employee.The bus was not cleaned between delivery of the plane crews.So the next crew on board the bus has now flown out of AU infecting the planes passengers.
All the the states+territorys have Nsw or greater Sydney in lockdown for Xmas.Instead of worrying about Wa's covid response or our GST allocation .Just get your shit together and manage your own financial +Covid affairs.

bloody diabolical facts emerging from this - looks like the culprit just did the exact opposite of the law at the first chance , and already more are deliberately ignoring the lock completely

I think BH called her "Gladys Bereft of any idea" a while ago and he was on the money there....and that idiot Health Minister Brad Hazzard has to go now surely after the Ruby Princess fiasco and now this.

Great post gtr ....spot on. It’s good to see Macca stick to his guns through all this despite the criticism he copped. Also great to see the vast majority of people in WA are behind him.

58 Wa was getting less than $0.50 cents in the $GST 2014-18.Those 4 years gave Wa a long recession. Colin Barnett got set up at the Premiers conforence.
Dan Andrews told Colin to sell Western Power.And Nsw + Queensland told Colin to cut infrastructure spending.And not build Optus Stadium+ Elizabeth Key.They where more than happy for Wa to rot on the vine.

Agree with all that has been said but when we have muppets like Stack and others WE need to be vigilant in our own backyard to ensure we do not come a cropper.

apparently Christmas will magically put CV-19 in pause for 3 days from the 24th December
then at midnight on the 26th December everything will revert back to the business as usual rotten old Pumpkin
