Reputation should count for nothing, this bloke is as guilty as anyone at Essendon for bringing the game into disrepute and he should step aside and if he doesn't then he should be shown the door. A two year ban minimum to set a precedent. So far it looks like he's happy for others to take the fall.

The guys pretty arrogant he will stay as long as he wants.

The guy's a scumbag. I can't believe this cockroach is still standing. Didn't he say in the press conference when Essendon first fessed up that he was responsible for what went on in the footy department? He's a worm who is now ducking and diving like Joe Fraser avoiding any responsibility or culpability. How come the guy who knew nothing about it (Robson) walks the plank but the bloke who knew everything about it keeps his job? The AFL's been as weak as piss during all of this. Demetriou is busting his nuts to keep the lid on this until the season finishes so he doesn't to confront a compromised finals. The whole things a farce. Hird thinks he's bigger than the game and I guess if you say it often enough you can convince enough people that its true.
