Lots of squabbling in Victoria, NSW & Queensland about Covid. Qld let in Tom Hanks yet refuse people in to see dying parents & attend funerals. Nsw have ministers revolting against their Premier & Vics dont know who authorised restrictions.. Looks like all three Premiers will lose next state elections.. Probably good for all of them.

Those three states have delusions of grandeur and superiority, especially NSW & Vic, must say though that NSW has handled the spread of the Victoria virus quite well, keeping a lid on it with single or low double digits most days. They should all look west to see which states/territories are doing it right, which state is not in recession and which states economy is propping up the rest. That being said, I would like to see us and the 2 central states/territory combine into one covid area remaining locked off from the eastern states but open borders between SA, WA & NT. Would help all three regions particularly with travel spending, flights and accommodation business.

These comments by Queensland Chief Health officer Jeanette Young are disgusting and shows the ugly side of humanity, bend the rules for the almighty $$$$ but don't show compassion for a young girl who's father was dying to see him before he dies then after he passes refuse to let her attend his funeral when she has come from Canberra where they had no positive case for 60 days prior.

Now, for the first time, Queensland’s chief health officer – who solely has the power to grant exemptions – has revealed why some people are treated differently.

And it all comes down to one word - money.

Jeannette Young said there were economic reasons for allowing film stars to pass into the state because “we need every single dollar in our state”.

“I have given exemptions from people in entertainment and film because that is bringing a lot of money into this state,” she said in a press conference yesterday.

Mr Morrison told Sky News overnight it was clear there were double standards at play.

“Well I think that’s why people have been so frustrated today, when they see double standards,” he said.
