Sounds like John Quigley and state solicitors have planned the timing of this legislation very carefully to prevent Clive the Gorilla from mounting a Supreme Court challenge to prevent this legislation from applying to this legal action. If it is delayed and not passed this week it opens the door for this prick to stop it from happening in the NSW Supreme Court.

They said on 7 tonight the wanker makes 1 million dollars a day in royalties from another mine he leases from WA to the Chinese. FMD I thought only governments could earn royalties?

Because it's human nature to raise a person's less than positive physical and personality traits if you don't like them. I've never met you MO, but if I were to describe you being an atypical Swans supporter I'd say you've got a flat head, a monobrow, knuckles dragging on the ground, eyes that move independently of each other and so on....it's just the way it is....so it's a good thing I like you as I'd never describe you as that.

Agree MO. BC I think there is a big difference between the analogy you gave about describing a knuckle dragging bogan to someone being obese which is a serious medical problem these days not necessarily a product of ones bad eating habits. There are lots of factors that can create obesity and it is often a byproduct of a number of factors in a persons life that people are too quick to judge.

We might assume Clive is obese because he is filthy rich and spends all day at the buffet but he might have a medical condition. James Packer has put on a ton of weight in recent years which has coincided with his own mental health struggles. We shouldn’t be too quick to judge when we don’t know the circumstances in a persons life. Plus I think it detracts from the real argument, he is a greedy self righteous prick.

I’m calling him Clive the Gorilla cos I’m thinking of that Clint Eastwood movie. But maybe it was a Clyde and he was an Orangutan wasn’t he? Got to give him some pet name. Maybe Godzilla is more appropriate.
