That is huge for soccer in this country, we are never going to be able to host the men's World Cup so this is the next best thing. Huge for soccer of both sexes and now the FFA hold the upper hand in future negotiations with broadcast suitors. How quickly the pendulum can swing.

It is a huge fillip for Australia sport in general, places the spotlight on us and our capacity undertake such events.

Lets hope travel is back to normal.
