Among all this current madness in this world, there are still positive people around. I bought a lotto ticket yesterday morning and when I was about to pay, an old bloke probably in his Mid 70’s said to me”excuse me”. He said that among this madness, he wanted to share a bit of kindness and handed me a $2 scratchy. He looked as though he was doing it hard getting around and financially, so I said I couldn’t accept his generosity, but he insisted. I said let’s get it checked and share any winnings, but again he refused. It didn’t win any money and I caught up with him as he was getting into his dilapidated old car and thanked him and we had a chat. That really made the rest of my day. What wonderful old man.
