Don't give up on Virgin yet LS.
According to the news yesterday, several parties are showing interest in buying the company. Pity I never heard the full story and only listened the ending. If there is a buyer out there, maybe the company will be sold in a few weeks?

That creditable source the west Australian was saying Twiggy is trying to put a consortium together to buy Virgin

Think in their whole time I only used them once and that was when it was Virgin Blue and pretty basic.

Wouldnt bother me in the slightest as I basically only ever fly OS these days with stuff all domestic. Mind you I wont be doing any at all for quite a while at this stage.

There's a bit of wheeling and dealing going on behind the scenes according to the news. Apparently 1 or 2 buyers are in the mix and should hear something concrete by mid next month. Will need two carriers in the skies. Just asking for trouble if there's only one.

Apparently the field has been reduced to 4 very interested parties in the mix to become the new owners of Virgin airlines. Apparently virgin owes about 7 billion $.
It would be safe to assume if the latest deal/ s were to fail, then liquidation would soon follow.
The next few weeks going to be interesting. Hoping for a good outcome because we cannot afford to lose virgin.
