Yes DD, he has a good point.
The 8 Wafl club memberships are also very low, considering WA's population. Memberships (whilst important) would not be an enormous amount of dollars. Sadly as we all know, Wafl game day crowds are dwindling each year. To have Wafl matches played with no attendees there seems pointless.
Having said that, apparently the Wafl commercial tv telecasts are raking in a lot of money for the Wafl clubs too? Unless we've been told lies? Have previously put some differing ideas forward. If the season does get underway, there will be options available.

Apparently the WAFL club presidents have been gagged from commenting on the future of the WAFL competition in 2020. According to JT only chairman Rick Gloede can make public comment on the situation. The mail is though that the presidents are of the view that a completely cancelled season would be more financially viable for most clubs than a shortened 9 game season because of the cost of staging matches with staff required etc.
