I heard that Swans are $150,000 better off after Telstra paid their rent for the telephone tower in the members enclosure. Good windfall, but Swans forgot to send the telco an invoice for seven years. Dummies.

That's incredible that no one picked this up given Swans financial situation of past years. Some more in the kitty for recruitment?

Yes SD should have been on top of this long before now but alternatively the Telco company have not exactly been on top of their financial requirement either!

BH your club might want to start by spending a bit of that cash on your clubrooms. Huge hole just below the roof when I drive past on most days. Probably got a nice pigeon nest in your roof by now.

Mind you I'd feel a lot safer inside your clubrooms than that shithole on Moss st. Drove past that yesterday. That building should be condemned.

My understanding is that they are building separate change rooms for the womens team so that may be the reason for the hole

Will be having new change rooms for the women, will be fixing the roof of the clubrooms and will be replacing the old seating in front of the members area.

I hope the 8 other clubs are asking why they weren't offered a phone tower at their home ground, given the huge financial advantage that goes with it.

A microwave tower in the members goes a long way to explaining why bogan supporters are a bit out there and some have two heads.

I believe that there is a mobile facility on the roof of the grandstand at MRP.
Has been there for years. No need for a tower when a grandstand roof will do.
