good to beat Peel, blokes gave 100% effort all day.
Turner and Cipro back and firing together really takes the pressure off Hampson and Riggio.
was it Hampson that put the tackle in the forward line to create the 2nd last goal ?
bit hard to see but that summed up the effort all day.

Yeah that was George who ran down Bennell from behind MO to set up the Ireland goal which brought us back to 2 points down.
If only Cip could have an injury/illness free season as he and Jess are our future midfield to be built around

thanks BH, Hampson then got a free at the next centre bounce which then set up the Notte goal as well.
Payne put in another tireless performance as well, works very hard out on his wing.
Beck did well also.
they didnt have the big blokes they normally have up forward and their rubbish style of play kept us in the game.

Yeah true about their big blokes Doc was able to neutralise big Jones in the ruck and did more around the ground for mine while Dixon who started ominously seem to run out of steam and wasnt as prominent late. One area I thought they might carve us up was with their pace with Colyer, Bewley, Sturt, North, Banfield etc from Freo plus their indigenous boys Thorne, T.Bennell & R.Bennell (who played Colts for us I might add) but thankfully it rarely came in to play.

I see on the WAFL site that Callum Garcia was reported on Saturday for making contact with an umpire and yet there was no report in the FD vs ESS game where the umpire was actually knocked out in a collision? Bizarre!

Despite our ordinary season Southy one solace is we have done our level best to keep the afl reserves teams out of the finals in the last few weeks to help out the WAFL clubs in contention!

Bloody beautiful.
Swan Districts bowled them over earlier in the season too, I think in Fixture 6 or 7.
