Swans have now lost 11 quarters In a row and 13 of last 14 played - up to half time in Perth game we had won 17/30 quarters we have now won 18/44

Was our worst loss ever in terms of margin against Peel and only narrowly (4 points) avoided our lowest score against Peel, the 1.2 half time score was not only our worst (prev 3.3) but the equal lowest first half ever against Peel by anyone (= 0.8 by WP)

Well, made it back safely though that is 5 hrs of my life I will never get back.
Is there ever a day without a hold up on the freeway heading north from Mandurah.
Back to rounds 1&2 where we also managed 7 goals.
Basically Peel/Freo had many more full game contributors.
I admire the efforts of up and comers like O'Sullivan, Reidy & Ridley
I have come to the conclusion that our great recruiters and now selectors must be subject to some form of blackmail in order for Simpson and Howlett to get games
In the past at least the parasites we recruited ( eg Twomey, Robinson, Roach etc knew how to get a kick and earn their $$$
Even Elarii and Rogers after giving the coach a spray, got on with it and earned their keep.
I am beginning to have empathy with Dockers supporters, thank goodness the red wine will warm me up in time for the cricket at 8.30

You blokes passed up on the opportunity to go for a casual stroll down the Mandurah mall?

Non event really (no, not the Bogans today) - I saw far worse on the Mandurah river foreshore in the mid 60s, when I was still at high school.

Unfortunately, my smart phone had run out of battery, so I couldn't record it. :)

Swans have been amateurish level at best.
No enthusiasm no endeavor just a shell of a side I have to admit.[/q
Yeh was a feeling of utter emptiness today, no desire or enthusiasm. I would have instructed someone to start a fight to get the blood flowing because nothing else was working. Only good thing was getting out of Meth city in one peace

Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

I take my hat off to BH,Swandog and TRSM and any other Swans supporter who made the trip all the way down to Mandurah yesterday to watch that "match". I just couldnt face it to be honest and I guess I could have spent the afternoon watching the weeds in my garden grow and still had more fun. GTRX mentioned 2016 and yes the season is panning out like that but I didnt feel the same sense of complete loss of hope in 2016 as I do now. The only thing that will help at the end of this season is for a complete warts and all review of the football operations and a clean out if necessary. As BH says we need to recruit team players who will help the kids understand what the demands of WAFL footy are and not guys who are just interested in tidy stats and a nice pay packet. I am not confident this will happen and Swans will continue work towards their goal of being the best community and social club in the WAFL but an irrelevance as far as football is concerned.

Mike don't give up on Swans or the Wafl.Maby gives Swans a break for a few weeks or for the rest of the 2019 season. Every swans fan and Oz Footy poster feels the same ATM.They might surprise in 2020 like 2017.

Thanks GTRX, appreciate your words. We are all passionate Swans fans but there would have to be a change of philosophy in the club over the next 6 months for me to continue as a member (i.e. some goal/objective relating to football success embedded in the clubs KPI's or Mission statement.) It is not there at the moment and the team is playing without any direction. In this case I can't really see where the improvement would come from in 2020?

Players don’t care about club kpi’s, they want to win don’t worry bout that.

Of course they do STT. No player goes on a ground wanting to lose, but its how you work together as a team and a club to achieve this goal and there seems to be some confusion as to what the club is trying to acheive at the moment and maybe the players are picking some of those messages up.
