how many do people at SD think they will win in the first five games? Will there be a big upset at Bassendean in round five?

Swans can win R1 at home+beat WP up at Joondalup.Approching round 5 ,2-2..then 2-3.

Last time we played them last year they flogged Swans.And when swans beat them they normally find a way to lose the match.On the way the seasons finished last year have them a few goals up on SD.

Of the first 5 games
SF (home)- even money
EP (away) - good chance
P ( home) -Perth favourites
WP ( away) - even money
S ( home) - no chance

So if it goes our way we could be 3 -2 or 2-3. If it is 0-5 it will be a season similar to 2016. A lot will depend on how the mature players blend with the youngsters. Remember in 2014 we had a very inexperienced group and we gelled and were on top of the ladder after round 8, including a very sweet victory over Subiaco at Leederville.
One bonus looking through the fixtures is that 7 or our first 11 games are at Bassendean.

mikeh: good one -- I am looking forward to the season. How ever the results go, it will be good to have a lot of cricket to watch, after the games too.
