Condolonces to the Sidebottom family on the passing of David. He played 129 games for Swans from 1961 to 69, including the 1963 premiership.
David also coached the Colts teams in 1977 , 78 and 81, when they were runners up to East Fremantle. In 1979 and 80 he coached the Reserves team, including a premiership in 1979. He also served on the Board at Swans for a number of years, and the father of Michael , who played 54 games in the early 1990s.
The funeral is at Bassendean Oval Friday April 27 at 10am, for those wishing to attend.

Rip Dave..Sounds like Dave had a wonderful life.A great Swans man.The Sidebottom name is well known at Swans.Seen Gary at the Subi v Swans game a few weeks back.
