Just heard that former Swans defender back in 1981 Darryl Sutton sadly passed away from pneumonia.
Sutton originally from Tas played 17 games, 5 goals for the Mighty Black & Whites SDFC and also managed 91 games, 65 goals at NM, 6 games, 0 goals at Rich & 14 games, 25 goals for Syd and was an All Australian in both 1979 & 1980.

Sad to hear this BH, he was only 64 as well. I recall a few specky marks that he took in the season that he played for us.

He certainly was a spectacular aerialist Mike even from predominantly Centre Half Back & Full Back which were the positions he played mostly.

Oh sad to hear. I am sure he will get a good send off at his funeral. I was watching a 'winners' show a while back and was a wee bit shocked at the number of players whom had in fact passed away.
