I was actually quite surprised Souths got rolled but the Claremont Colts dynasty rolls on!

Earlier than they needed to be and should have been. It will be interesting to see the benefits of the young guys playing league and reserve games throughout the season back at colts' level.

Well done to the Royals. Even though it was a close match, East Perth led at every change and it appears they took better advantage of their opportunities and got the ball 63 more times which suggested Swans were outworked on the day.

Overall a disappointing end to the season for Swans, Aiden Clarke did his bit with 4 goals but some of the other guys who have experienced league footy this year would have expected more from themselves today. Good luck to East Perth against South next week.

If the Sharks beat Subiaco in the reserves today I think its almost certain that the three Souths teams will be playing at Leederville which means that the Perth Colts game will be at Joondalup along with the East Perth v Claremont reserves game. A Subiaco victory in reserves would complicate it a little. Also if East Perth beat Peel in the league today, there may be argument to send their Colts team to Joondalup as well. All will become clear at 6pm tonight.

Gee Cl and Perth's colts will be pleased as punch witth that EP colts win.....really thought outside of Cl n Perth, SD, with all those boys with senior footy under their belts, would be the danger side......looks like a Cl v P final now......though if EP get Powell-Pepper back they could surprise, like they did today.....really surprised SD lost this one.....

Mike and other Swannies folk, Today was a great game not cos we won, it was hard fast, great tackling some good kicking some not so but pressure will do that, it was played in the right spirit and was one of those games where to Umpires were not seen despite the raucousness of the crowd baying for kicks.

I think young Clark is a very good player along with Yorkshire and Fullgrabe. I think that young Tom Vellios did a job on Cipro after the first quarter, 11 touches and then 5 for the rest of the game.

My best for us are Taylor North, Connor De Campo and Brandon Starcevich but we played as a team and prevented Swannies in the run game.

Congrats Grump your boys showed our mob up for desperation, work rate & will to win in a cut throat Elimination Final.
Thanks to Coops for doing a great job with the Colts over the last few years his replacement will have some big shoes to fill.
For us Swans fans it was an all too familiar site this season mostly from our Senior group and lets hope our squad can learn from this and work hard on all of these deficiencies over the Summer.
