yep very true gtrx SD in that era were indeed very special....reckon tho that Hawks team through the 80's was pretty special too SS.....they had champs on every line....actually nearly in every position.....Ayres, Langford,Greene and Mew up back.....Platten, Tuck, Matthews and Dipper thru the middle and Brereton, Buckenara and Dunstall up front...truly scary.....but yep SD side in that 80's era definitely were a joy to watch....more so for you SD fans!! :lol:

If Dermie starting playing up Boucher would of sorted him out Freeze. In the 1970's the VFL was still big mark + Torpedo Punt and in WA we where playing run on footy already.Mark + hand pass moving the ball quickly.
