SD = 9 SF = 1

Do we owe u? 4 sure but imo or biggest test thus far is on Saturday...

Didnt realise that it was that lop sided. Every game against South seems like a battle. The Doggies won the last game in 2014 at Basso and really we stole the game at Fremantle on that rainy day where Souths dominated for three quarters but couldnt kick straight, then Swannies came home with 6 goals straight in the last. Probably one you have wiped from the memory banks. I get the feeling your guys have a new lease of life with Curley as coach as well.

We owe them! they beat us last start at Basso, so only good as the last outing forget the previous 9
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

I expect Warrick Wilson to debut on Saturday just reading between the lines. There are 30 named in the ressies and from the league bench only Coniglio,Wilson and Slater are missing from the ressies squad so expect them to play. Kirkup is in the league team but named in ressies. Burnham named as an out but not named in ressies. Rudy not named as an out but listed in ressies. So team not settled as yet imo. Probably will depend in the weather. Is Rogers clear to play?
All in all should be a cracking game and show us where we are at! Expecting us to fire early!!

Do rate Curley as a coach. Something about his temperament stands out. Lets hope we are seeing an ugly side this weekend but appears to be a great fit for the Dogs.

Congratulations boys - a very very good win today and too good for us on the day a well deserved 4 points

Your young blokes did extrememly well too along with the experienced ones you should be playing finals again in 2015

Again my hat is off & if there's one team I'm not all that fussed about losing to it's the Basso boys hahaha

Cheers!

Great performance by the boys, Blight and Notte seemed to be everywhere today but everyone contributed. Ricky Cary was great in the way he ran back into defence to assist. Wilson showed a lot of promise, Ridley found it tough but he will get used to the pace. I think the Doggies missed the 35 possessions from schloithe and I think that Swans midfield was on top for most of the day.

Agree mike....Notte & Blight super impressive today. Can think of 20 balls in dispute today where Notte may not have got a stat but got his fist or hand to the ball first and back to our advantage. Best game I've seen from Blighty in terms of impact on the result. Ugly scrappy game for most of the day so was most pleasing to see us grind the win out and not give SF much of a sniff in the last qtr kicking with that breeze. Got to agree with Mad Dog's comments re the coach. Had a few lads working very specifically today and seemed to do the trick. South competed hard but never quite seemed to get going so full credit to the coaching staff today.

Got to ask though....what the hell was goin on with all that Maccas paraphernalia around the ground. At least put it up around the MacDonald stand and not cover up our beautiful Swan over at the can bar.

Message to club....can a more permanent fix be done regarding the constant toilet blockages at the main cubicles? Very embarrassing for the club when our guests from visiting teams (especially the ladies) make the effort to travel and attend their away games only to face toilet cubicles that resemble swimming pools brimming with big brown floaters. Not a good look for the club and definitely not an isolated incident. To the bloke who I found wading thru the puddles...,I hope you found your thong

Have to agree with the impact Blight and Notte had today. Some of the marks they took at vital times in the 3rd and last were sensational.. It obvious to me that Blight is given the job of tagging out the opposition's best midfielder each week.. Ash Ham's was getting very shitty with the treatment Blight gave him today. Had a couple of swings at him but seemed to be super surprised to get one streight back each time.
I was super impressed with Nuich today. He was very very good. I think that's what enabled Blight to cut loose today as we had a ruckman that was winning. This all goes well for when Blakely returns as it gives us options to shuffle Nuich down back if needed in tight situations.
Elari looked to be injured early on but you wouldn't have guessed with his guts and determination today.
Ricky Carey must have said something to Sellar that he didn't like as the swift clout in the ear he got was a beauty. ( a couple of weeks off for Sellar I think ).
All in all a good result without us playing at our best. It sends a message that we are the real deal again this year to all the others.

Does anyone know how much longer Blakely is away ?

I heard Doc will be due back early May so another couple of weeks, Banners a bit longer.
Tough game in the clinches today there werent too many easy kicks. The whole backline stood tall against a very strong forward line ditto the mids and congrats to both Warwick & Levi on their debut game in the Black & White & also Swoop on his 150th.
