Anyone happen to watch the WCE v Carlton pre season match a cupla days back? Interested to know how Boeky went. Did he look comfortable at the level etc?

I watched the game -
Generally the entire Carlton Squad didn't look comfortable at that level

But Really -- papers here and in the east felt he showed glimpses of promise, with a couple of runs made from congestion that gave rise to potential

Personally I saw a young man with a 'long way to go'

He still looked very WAFL level in his play and general ability

There's also his ability to differ into the VFL style of play making that ahead of him
Time will tell I guess - good luck to him - hes been given the opportunity and now its in his head, heart and hands to make the most of it.

Showed glimpses mate and on a bigger ground given space he will make his presence felt for sure but the congested style crap that the AFL has become especially on small grounds like Rushton dont suit his game.
