The boys who stuck around were there because they had a contract and unlike some they honoured it and that says a lot about their character.

If they leave now then sobeit and where they go is there call, I just hope none go north!

Coz Grump has groomed them Turtle....respect where it's due

Not me, I only do the trainers job, but I figured it was a lot 'tongue in cheek'.

A subtle attempt to heap praise Grump. Respect to u mate for ur continued involvement with the WAFL despite your concerns with the alignment at EP and especially so being that you give ur time for the benefit of the youngsters. And don't give me the ' I'm only the trainer" jibber, trainer types have more words of wisdom for the young fellas than any coach I ever had to listen to....

So two guys who honoured their ressies and colts contracts are now going to be playing ressies for Swans.

WHY DO WE NEED TWO BLOKES WHO ARE NOT GOING TO ADD TO OUR LEAGUE SQUAD WHO ARE NOT NEEDED BY EP AT BASSO?????????????

Turtle I respect your right to have your own opinion but your incessant rants are becoming a little tiresome I have to say.
What is wrong with a couple of EP blokes who cant get a look in over there because of the Eagle alignment trying out with us over the pre season?
As MO wrote it doesnt cost us anything and best of luck to both boys if they are good enough they will make the cut.
And your remarks about a Swans/Bassendean favourite son in Andrew Embley are an absolute disgrace.
The guy played 250 AFL games, kicked over 200 goals, played in a Premiership, won the Norm Smith Medal in said Premiership and also let me remind you he kicked 5 goals from a wing in his last WAFL game in the 2013 1st Semi for us vs the Eagles dags!

Blokes like Cary, Jukes and Latch have come to the club in recent years from outside our zone and cost us nothing.
Any decent club has an open door to blokes willing to do the work and get a game, especially when we can't afford the clearance fees of other clubs.
Ethan Hughes was a reserves player at Peel and like Cary is a rookie chance which means money to the club, take your blinkers off Turtle
