Grump, both of those EP players are at Swans, the Ferals have lost 17 players from last years list !

I have known Tony since 14's, he made the state 16's I think. he is a great young man and I hope he does well for the Swannies, as for the comment abt 17 gone, don't know anything other what i have said abt Tony and Stephen.

If this is true then it proves what a joke of a club EP has become, all the hard work volunteers do for these colts to groom them to play league at EP then to not get the opportunity is criminal. Good luck to them at swans at least they will have opportunities.

East Perth gave league debuts to 4 local kids exactly the same as east Freo.
If you take into account the AFL influence at East Perth
who's doing a better job of giving out opportunities.
I know a kid who plays colts in b grade average player at best, he has a bit of height and that's about it .
Has not played league for ammo,s just colts.
Offered 500 a game to play country in a very average comp for 2015.
The good ressies can't get an opportunity all the while getting paid nothing and training as hard and as often as the league players.
In the end they will only bang their heads against the wall for so long no matter which club they are at.

Depends who the 17 are, Claremont lost a lot of 2nd tier players over the last couple of seasons. Not just to country leagues for $$ but it's very common these days for players to leave to travel overseas with team mates. If the players are quality and are pissed off after the GF then that's another story.
