Unfortunately Larry that pretty much sums up this site. You're wasting your time trying to communicate information or issues on football to all but a handful on here.

I have certainly tried hard to get some football debate going. But as you point out only a few people are interested and man enough to give and take in adult conversation. Role in cricket season.

Fark, Here we go again……… When the alignment was "disbanded" in 2002, you Ferals had the benefit of the top line WAFL players that you poached from other clubs whilst aligned with the Eagles. As you did not have to pay for Eagles players, you put all your eggs into Symons, Wilson, Turnball and a few others that other posters may be able to add, had you not been aligned, you would have had no chance of paying those players the $30k each !!!

Alignment ended 2001............ The money for the players came from moving from Perth oval in large part. So I take it opening the check book to buy players is not a regular practice in the WAFL.

By my reckoning, thats 3 players recruited from other WAFL clubs, 3 who stayed on after being delisted by WCE, 5 Victorian players, 3 players who were on WCE's list at the time, 1 who returned after his AFL career had finished, 5 country players and 1 from the Amateurs. 6 country players if you want to count Lyster.
