To be honest I'm not sure but their dad was a good Royals player I'm sure he wanted them at EP. From my memory the boys had mates from Bunbury at the Swans. I stand to be corrected on this. Similar to the Marsh boys we let go to EF to play at their grand fathers club. We really are not that bad down at EP you know.

The Blakely boys are from Bunbury which is in Swans zone ..yes Mark played at EP but I would doubt he played enough games for father/son.

Oh the irony: if they were playing for "East Perth" one would have finished his colts' season before the finals and the other would have been playing ressies.

Why would his season be finished before the colts finals? The older boy I agree with you is not at league standard yet but you have a hard time keeping players at Swans in particular ruck man.
