President Harvey Resigns

Peter Harvey, our President of Swan Districts Football Club announced earlier today he is resigning from the Board effective immediately.

After joining the Swan Districts Board in 2005 he became President in 2006 and has been so ever since. Peter has served the Mighty Black & Whites well with plenty of passion included.

His decision is purely based around increased family and work commitments that include more interstate travel. His amazing passion for the Swans is still alive and won't be lost to the club.

Vice President Kim Rutherford, will take over the responsibility in the interim until a further decision has been made.

Who will be Harvey's replacement in the long term?

Kim Rutherford, Paul Douglas, Peter Hodyl, Peter Snow, Matt Carr or Dave Parkinson.

I'd love to know the real reasons behind his resignation. Why not announce it at the AGM in a few weeks time instead of making a sudden departure? Could it be that the new board members wouldn't let him get his own way?
I feel bad for Kim Rutherford who is a decent bloke and is going to have to be the one who faces the members in a few weeks, especially after all that has gone on in the last year.

has to be Peter Snow to take over, Rutherford should be out the door with his mate Harvey..good riddance..

subi didnt have to as their books weren't cooked to the tune of $800k and can pay the bill...

what has that got to do with Josh Roberts retiring ?

BC obviously has a problem with tough ball players (Roberts), must be something foreign to $ubi???
I suggest BC should head back to the WP thread & have another cry over Mifka in the 95 GF whilst also sitting down to have a pee maybe!!
