Swans have come up with a great idea for the match day function. The next home game against Perth will be the first Legendary Functions event, where 2 past champions, one from Swans, and the other from the club Swans play that day reminisce about their battles against each other. The first one will feature Bill Walkerand Barry Cable. The following home game against South Fremantle will feature Ron Boucher and Stephen Michael.

The final home game of the year will feature the Swans book keeper V the ATO

What a great concept! I'm sure there will be some very interesting stories told. Fantastic way of portraying the rich history of the WAFL. If it goes down well maybe other clubs will follow suit. How about Brian Peake, Graham Moss, Mal Brown, Graham Melrose, Leon Baker, Peter Spencer, Jim and Phil Krakouer , Steve Malaxos, Noel Carter, Robert Wiley, Mel Whinnen, Bill Dempsey, Austin Robertson, Peter Bosustow, Polly Farmer...... I could go on for ever. Legends of the WA league, so many great players and battles
