We are fu#*ed now more than we have ever been before and its going to be a long hard year or years for the swans faithful.
Can someone please enlighten me as to why Greg Harding was given a contract extension? If I'm correct he has overseen a lot of what has happened in recent times and surely he has played a part in both the financial state and the departure of several senior players over the past 2 years.

The only bloke they could get back to coach for bugger all would be John Todd, you pay peanuts, you get monkeys !

Well done Swoop on a great career. He probably saw that 2014 was going to be a rebuild for Swans and he may have felt that giving his spot to a younger player and contributing off field as a coach would benefit the team more than playing on. Whatever the reason, he deserves kudos and I hope he gets some recognition at Swans first home game this year.
Swoops retirement leaves just 6 of the 2010 premiership team playing on into 2014, Ames, Simpson, Riggio, Casserly,Jetta and Davis.

Or he's seen everyone else bugger off and realised you won't be as competative and didn't want to be in a struggling side ??? Or was he going to get paid what he's worth and if not for the love of the club he parted ways ???

Whatever the reason (only stirring you up) he's a big loss to Swans and the comp which is getting weaker and weaker. I would rather have seen him play but he's made his decision and I wish him well. Another top class player leaves the WAFL in 2014 - How many have we lost from 2013 now ???

Hang on everyone including some high profile judges thought Monaghan was a monkey before Grand Final day and he proved them wrong, and don't forget we had the wood on West Perth the past couple of years with Stiffy in charge!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

and that means what Swandog?......ok you have the WP and more than likely the EF games all sewn up.......can't ever think of a side finishing above the bottom 2/3 with only 5 wins......the likes of Geappen, Roach, Robinson, Twomey, Hildebrandt and Hams are huge huge losses for you guys.....plus youngsters in Robb, Garlett and Cameron.....and Newman and Bennell.....how many goals and possessions per game have SD simply lost there.....1/2 a side!!

yeah when one door closes and another opens.....far too many closing doors there mate.....I reckon EF season is gonna be long without any quality height, I reckon SD is gonna be even longer with little quality at their disposal in all departments.....fingers crossed the umps take pity on SD predicament and ping them less in both their forward and defensive 50 zones.....but hey we all know how much the umps 'love' those boys in black and white eh?

Hopefully Daly will decide to stay instead of leaving after two or three games like he has in the last few years. Have they made any attempt to get the McKinlay who kicked nearly 150 goals in the Hills FA last year?

Perhaps you can enlighten us, m/dog, how Harding is responsible for the financial situation we are currently in. Also, perhaps you can tell us how he is responsible for losing three players to the prostitution of the WAFL competition which goes by the name of 'host club alignment'. I suppose Harding should take some credit for us losing three players to the draft.

With respect to players like Krakoeur and Twomey it is my understanding that it was their decision to leave.

Is that Adam McKinlay? I liked the look of him in 2012. Might get more of an opportunity now that Swoop has retired.
