Well done to Tony Notte this years Swan Medal winner, Swooper Geappen was 2nd 3rd Twomey, 4th Hams and Robinson

fingers crossed Freo give Notte a second chance at playing AFL.....don't think WCE would be interested and really don't think any other ES cub would be interested in Notte, especially with similar other matures talls running around in the VFL or SANFL.....though if Lee and Maister can get repeat AFL gigs over east, than there is hope for us all!!

I thought Davo & Amesy would have finished in the top 5 ahead of Hams & Robinson tho missing games through injury during the season would not have helped their chances!

Agree with you BH. Congratulations on Tony Notte winning our F&B. Also, agree with you about Davis and Ames. Could someone who was there let me know please where Ames and Davis finished in the medal count.

Great to see Tony win. Always added joy when a local lad wins.

Unusual given the voting system (a score for each game out of 10) Ames was not up there. Wouldnt have rated any of his games lower then a 6 and some would of had to be solid 9 or 10's. Tony won averaging just under 7 including finals. Ames missed 1 game max I believe.

Davis was solid also, Perhaps a couple of big 9/10 games for Robinson or Hams, in the end of the day those top 5 plus Ames and Davis all had consistent years.

Swan42 - Davis was almost in the top 5 or 6. Ames didnt make the top 10.
