Thanks for all the great entertainment over the past 4 years. An outstanding competitor even though it sounds like injuries have taken their toll. Tom was an integral part of the 2010 premiership and will be greatly missed on the field. He has also played in 2 premierships in the VFL, so well done to him on an outstanding career.

Well said mikeh....his run will be sorely missed in our midfield...hope Tom has enjoyed his stint at SD as much as we have enjoyed his ability to impact games. A very unique fidgety type footballer with ball in hand who loved to run and take the game on which was often exciting to watch. Far from being a complete footballer but used what he had extremely well. Sad to hear he's hangin em up but good luck to him and a heartfelt thanks for his service to the SDFC.

Yes Tom will leave a hole in our midfield with his pace for sure. When on song there wasn't many that could go with him because he, as has been explained, was a fidgety and kind of unpredictable footballer. Best of luck for the future and his name is forever up in SD lights as a flag winner!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

Reckon folk could easily say young Tom had just as a successful career as his dad did..........both played at the highest level......well kind of........is he going home or staying local.

Disappointing news regarding his retirement but he will have some fond memories, as will we, of his time in the mighty balck and white. Good luck for the future and hopefully he will be able to maintain a link with Swans in the future.
