Or members don't feel they're in a position to make a credible, educated judgement. A lot aren't exposed to the inner workings of the club nor have sufficient background of candidates to make an educated decision.

While Underdog is right, it can be said, all are given their rightful opportunity to vote. I remember one year I completely forgot after being too busy.. 500 is not too bad, given much less turn out for an agm. its just how it is.

Smith I would have thought that 500 out of 1400 represents a pretty good percentage. I suspect the upcoming local government elections would not get a similar or better response.

Smith definitely has an axe to grind S42 in regards the Swans board elections as his only other posts on ozfooty were about last years board election!
