Recently watched the 1980 SOO at Waverëy Park.Wa took a 4 goal lead into ht.The Vics ran us over in the last qtr.In wet slippery conditions.
Maurice Rioli ripped Victoria apart in the first half.Lets not even mention his GF performance in 80

Swans also played East Perth in the 2010 Preliminary Final. Tony Notte had played 58 league games and Michael Walters was in the Swans team.

Malcolm had South Fremantle primed up enough to smash through the Berlin wall it would not have mattered who they played that day it was going to be an anhiliation for some unfortunate sod
that second quarter goal is still to this day the best I have ever seen and I've never seen anyone skip sideways like that in one motion and then bounce away and put it over the goal umpires head

The WAFL needs a Swans v EP grand final. Let’s hope we get it.

Darcy Jones at GWS and Humphrey's at Geelong.Both great debut Afl seasons.
Heard that Humphrey's was recruited from Swans reserves side.
