And the weather forecast is looking promising around the grounds on game day. Partly cloudy with a possibility of light rain and 18 degrees said to be the maximum temperature. If that doesn't pull a good crowd into the house, not sure what will.

Swans missed a golden opportunity for second spot on the ladder with the draw against South Fremantle. Let's hope they come out firing this week and dominate from the start.
A win would also beca fitting tribute to the memory of Beryl Cooper, wife of former club president John. Beryl passed away last Friday, bringing an end to 72 years of marriage to John.

Swans need this win to stay ahead of the chasing pack. Subiaco will be no pushover and we will need to play our best footy to get the points

A danger match. Last week's performance suggested Swans are going off the boil, with their running game unable to counter South's tactics. I cannot remember who said it, but Cartwright needs to be brought in. The good thing about the last two months' of football is the evidence that the game plan works - Tom on one line, Kohlmann on the other, and get out of their way when they lead (as Reidy discovered on the weekend) but be there for crumbing.

I understand that the Eagles are watching Pisani closely.

I would bring in Cartwright and Luke Kelly for the Subiaco game. Chipper just doesnt do enough for mine and his disposal is not great.

Confusing team selection for Swans tonight. Brad Lynch is named as both an "in" and an "out" on the team list. The out is "Bradley" and the in is "Brad" Surely we don't have two Brad Lynch's at the club?????.  The number 4 Brad Lynch is also named in his usual position on the ground. As Pauline Hansen might say "Please explain"
Also still no Glass- McCasker in the league team but Ireland has been named in the reserves. Interestingly Noble is not backing up so I wonder if he picked up an injury or if it is going to be too hard for him to pick up the pace at this stage of the season. Disappointing to see Stephens injured again, hope it is not too bad

I can't see us getting anywhere near your mob with recent outs of Mayo, Clark, Snadden, Foley along with long term injuries to Lockyer, Giro, Hayden, Braut meaning we're severely undermanned at the minute.

Yes it probably looks like that on paper BC. Swans do have a habit of not switching on from the start of the match so if they are not playing with the required intensity from the start, Subiaco may have a chance of getting an early break. Given whats at stake for Swans tomorrow you would hope that they will be on the ball from the first bounce.

Erceg has also been included in the reserves tomorrow as well as Ireland so they are both looking at being part of the back end of the season. I'm wondering whether Noble may have decided that making a comeback at this stage of the season will be too difficult given the fact that he didn't do a preseason. Would be a very tough task for him.  He hardly got a touch in the ressies last week.

Interesting team selection and feel the selected team could change come bounce down as it looks to me we are a back short. I really hope we don’t move O’donohue down back to play on Sokol (hasn’t worked before) or Kitchin, I think it’s critical, as stated on several occasions, that he spends majority of his time in the midfield on the oppo’s best mid. Pina most likely the one that rolls back and Chipper to the wing.

Disappointing that Cartwright didn’t get a recall but good to see that Ireland and Erceg are back via the 2’s.

It would be nice, through whatever means of communication possible - Injury Hub, Club Website, Facebook, that the club provide updates on the injury status of players. There is nothing on Hewitt, Glass-Mckasker, Noble, Stephens and had nothing on our captain Erceg.

Huge game coming up today with 2 tough away fixtures to follow. It will show just how far the team, club and coaching group has come.
