Any idea what Rokahr was reported for. I watched the replay and didn't see anything obvious.
There were a few scuffles that broke out late in the 2nd quarter so I'm wondering if something happened there.

Great Game from SD and backed up the best game I have seen from them for many years (last week vs SF).
This was a different stye - armwrestle, behind early and were then dominated through the 2nd qtr only to scrounge 2 goals just before HT to get back in the game.
Second half was magnificent again with run and carry the highlight and some sensational end to end goals.
It was all going to plan until the Lewis Testers kick late.
Swans were home and just needed to slow the ball down for a minute to ice the game.
Inexplicably, he kicked a high 30 metre floater between 3 SD players to allow a EP player to come in and take a easy mark.
When EP Player slotted that, it was shades of the EF game again - a real momentum killer.
EP went bang, bang with the one to put them in front from a very soft free kick 40 mtrs out directly in front.
SD were headed and were looking down the gurgler with the clock ticking as Jones had got back on top late giving his midfielders first use and back to back centre clearances.
SD managed it get to back from Pasini who went long, EP had flooded back and we were outnumbered badly.
Bodies flew everywhere and somehow Tom Edwards came out with the free kick and slotted it around the corner for his 6th.
SD stared defeat in the face and did not want to accept it which is a good sign.
The best team won on the day but EP are a great team and will be there when the whips are cracking.

For all the hoo haa about the Edwards free kick at the end, can someone tell me what the free kick to EP's Hille was for 30 seconds earlier that gave them the lead?

High tackle by Notte,a very obvious free kick.

Hmmm not sure about the obvious part, it looked pretty soft to me as did the Edwards one to you obviously RL.
Swings and roundabouts and all!
We could go on and on about other contentious decisions paid or not during the whole game including Wright holding the ball not paid despite doing a full revolution in the tackle before disposing, the clear goal by Glass-McCasker that was inexplicably called a point by the goal umpire in a horrendous position to judge, a dropping of the knees and then what looked suspiciously like a kick on to Edwards back after marking in the goalsquare in the 3rd qtr that somehow was missed etc etc but its done now.

This not being a criticism, more an interesting note. The royals lose by only a point and yet Swan Districts have 46 more Ball Disposals.

A fantastic effort on the day to notch up the fourth consecutive win and victorious in 5 of their last 6 matches. Been a while since they done that.

I watched the Channel 7 replay of the last quarter. It was a fantastic game of footy. Both teams had opportunities to shut the door on the opposition, East Perth when 26 points up in the 2nd Quarter and Swans when they were 13 points in front in the last. But the pressure in the game created mistakes on both sides and also some mystifying decisions by the umpires.

I have to say that I agree that the umpire should have given the free to Schumaker instead of Edwards in that last 30 seconds. However about a minute prior to that Hille had been awarded the softest of soft free kicks when I thought he ducked into a tackle from Tony Notte who is considerably taller than him. That is a bouncedown in most other cases. If you paid every one of these in every tackling situation you would be giving away 100 free kicks a game. The result was a goal to East Perth and a 5 point lead with about 2 minutes to go. If that had won the game for East Perth I would not have blamed the Umpire though, I would have been bemoaning the poor decision making of the swans players to cough up that 13 point lead that made us vulnerable to that umpiring decision.

After the Edwards goal there was 13 seconds left and East Perth did get another inside 50 so they had a chance to win it if they were good enough'

Well I thought the deliberate out of bounds where Ameduri screwed the ball around the body when he was facing the Swans goal, and led to the deliberate out of bounds, which led to the delivery of the Edwards free kick was a little dubious Mike, although I can see the grounds why they paid it,even though the ball travelled over the head of a Royals teammate before it trickled over the line.I want to be very clear that I have no issue with Swans winning what was a great game of football, and if Schumacher was paid his rightful kick,Swans would’ve been very unlucky, but I do take issue with the umpire who initially waved played on,and then in his wisdom made an erroneous decision that turned a 5 point lead into a 1 point loss a few seconds before the final siren.

As for the Hille decision,he did drop his knees a little bit which forced the unlucky Notte to tackle him across the shoulders, and although I thought the decision was probably right, they can be a 50/50 scenario, but as far as I’m concerned there should’ve been no ambiguity in the Edwards,Schumacher incident which the indecisive umpire clearly botched.
