Well you would hope 4 points will be coming our way on Sunday, nothing can be taken for granted though. It sucks that the game is yet again moved to Sunday so that the Eagles can play a few more but it is what it is, we all know all other competitions revolve around the mighty AFL....

At 1-6 the only motivation for Swans now is to try and put a few wins together and be a total nuisance to teams jostling for spots in the top 5. Hopefully they can do this and stay well away from any discussions on wooden spoons!. Victory on Sunday will be a small step forward after weeks of disappointment.

Your biggest challenge is that you've drawn the WAFL's most shithouse umpire Nic Shaw who loves sucking Eagle arse. See how you go with that dropkick. Good luck.

True enough BH, the club has never really been the same football wise since Dawson left in 2011. I noticed you haven't commented a lot about Swans this season. I'm guessing maybe you're sick of repeating the same stuff year after year?
Maybe we can have a chat about the ashes when that gets under way.

To be honest Mike going in to Rd1 with 8 of our best 22 all unavailable through injury I suspected another debacle of a season and unfortunately I was proven right again sadly.
It only got worse with Clarke injured half way through the second game, Fisher half way through the 3rd game and Jones, Bright & Collins all done by the 5th game.
And now I see Erceg is done for the season after battling injury over the last few games whilst Spackman cant seem to get through a full game without injury.
Some may be bad luck but surely most has to come down to bad management especially considering the off season was extended this year with a mid April starting date.
And even then we have been in all games bar 1 up until the final siren but inexplicably continue to find a way to lose at times the unlosable through a combination of poor decision making, poor skills, poor management or a host of other reasons.
And dont discount us losing this weekends game either as the WCER will field their strongest team all season including the addition of the new mid season draftee!!!

Bring on the cricket next week................

If Swan Districts lose this match, I will walk to Timbuktu and back again.
Heard on the grapevine that Swans are un-backable and sitting on one $ and 5c for the win. The other plonkers are apparently over 20 dollars.

Hey WAG. Your statement about walking to Timbuktu reminded me of the TV coverage of the 2010 grand final when Todd Ridley in his "unbiased" preview stated that he would "swim to Sweden" if Swans won the game. I'm sure I wasn't the only Swan supporter who would have gladly gone to Cottesloe the next day to wave him off on his journey!

4 points will always be welcome but its all a bit hollow because the finals horse has well and truly bolted. West Coast are a complete joke. 60 inside 50s to 23 is a complete obliteration.

Even so Swans kept them interested with their appalling kicking to 3 quarter time. The last quarter effort was more reflective of Swans dominance and it was good to see Tom Edwards fill his boots with 6 goals. Our mids all got leather poisoning but not surprising considering who they were up against.

The WAFL competition is diminished by games such as todays and every other game the WCER have played this year
