he got caught on the boundary line with a very heavy hit

I was 15m away from it, biggest hit I have seen on a footy field. Poor fella was on the ground for 10 minutes rolling in pain :(

That Mandurah player should have been reported and suspended - there was no way he was going for the ball his sole intention was putting the Swan Districts player down with force

Southy not only was the Peel player not reported at the time but inexplicably Collins did NOT even receive a free kick for that high bump when the Peel player had the opportunity to tackle, but as he was prostrate on the ground the umpires (4 & 22) call for the ball to be thrown back in to play.
So you have the dangerous situation where a player severely concussed (Will spent the night in hospital and his future football playing career now hangs in the balance) with his head split open and a severe concussion with the ball called to be played on in the vicinity of Collins, also leaving Swans a player short as the umpire didnt even stop play to see if Collins was ok to continue!
2 Peel players (31 & 3) then high fived each other straight after the incident right in front of where Collins was left prostrate further inflaming the situation.
I believe the umpires observer at the game did put it on NOI but nothing from on field!
Will be very interested to see if umpires (4 & 22) are umpiring WAFL League this weekend!!!

I just checked the footy budget on the WAFL site BH and both are umpiring league today.  I also see the bloke who did it copped 3 weeks at the tribunal but agree the officiating umpires at the time were very poor.

yeah mate you've got what I should have put up entirely - there's deep concern around several umpires who are clearly not good standard , you would be lucky if 50% of them were up to standard from what I've seen over the past two years
It is deplorable at the moment
In this one they've done nothing because not one of them was anywhere near the play (and this is getting worse by each game) and the Swans player had been smashed over the boundary line by that stage
The game should have been stopped , it was a blood rule and it was a serious injury

there is also one female goal umpire who makes incorrect calls every single match she officiates in - I have never seen a goal umpire deliberately refuse to position themself behind the flight of the ball and then make a decision despite being on the opposite side of the goalposts like this
The boundary umpires are called upon quite regularly she's that ridiculously bad
