Sad news today with the passing of a Swans legend.
A great player from a great era of WANFL history.
RIP Fred

Fred was the special comments man along side Dennis Cometti in the ABC coverage of the 1976 WAFL grand final, which I watched again just recently.
A good hard game of footy, and a high standard too considering the wet conditions. Better than the rubbish we get these days.
