Another option would be to play this round of fixtures on May 15 when WA play SA in Adelaide. Both clubs will lose a few players to the state team so they should still be evenly matched.

Or give the state game the flick (for now) and maybe play it after seasons end? Only have one split round instead of two?

is looking like a re-fixture over the two splitters later on this season so we might not being losing the round entirely mate

Just dump the state game for goodness sake and play this lost round then.
Unless that nanny McGowan still has us in lockdown for the next fortnight or more which wouldnt surprise me in the least!
 

mmmm unfortunately I think now everything is about to be suspended big time - one person (who has since done his deed and run back home) has started something monstrous by simply not showing any form of restraint after mysteriously coming into contact inside the quarantine

The State game will be in danger if we get anymore community spread. SA have already required 14 day iso for anyone coming from WA so that already takes us to the 11th of May, if lockdown finishes midnight tomorrow. If it gets extended to the end of the week, which seems very likely, the state game is caput.

I would be happy for them to postpone the State game till next year and use that weekend to play the games that were supposed to be held yesterday with full squads.

I'd bet London to a brick that will happen.

It is absolutely ludicrous to continue with the State game now we have lost a round this weekend with maybe further to come knowing Nancy McGowan's form, just can it it now and make up the lost WAFL rounds from that.
