Thanks mikeh.   I believe there is a futures game at the normal colts' time between us and the South-west academy futures team.  Followed by a WAFLW match.  With the league at 2.30 pm.   

The Reserves & Colts may be playing a practice match against each other this weekend but probably not on the Saturday as it is already a full day of games including an integrated match and a WAFLW match.

Not the strongest Eagles line up due to injuries in the senior team. Still some good players involved, Mark Hutchings, Brendon Ah Chee, Jarad Cameron.  Will be a bit strange for Zane Trew returning to Bassendean in an opposition guernsey but I'm sure he will be motivated to play well against his old team.
If Swans can play like they did at Lathlain last week, I think we have these guys covered. We will miss Turner and Jetta of course but I think we have enough quality to be able to cover for them. Sebastian Bright deserves his chance after some good performances in the ressies. 
We beat the Eagles both times we played them in 2019 and Swans are a much better side than that combination.

Great time to get WCER, hope you have a big win and keep this mob at the bottom of the table.
You would want to be playing Peelmantle and WCER early in the season with both having significant injury lists, later in the year when their key players are fit they will both be a very different proposition.

Watched the first quarter and 10 minutes of the second on Facebook before I had to turn it off. The commentary was a joke. Always praising the Eagles team even though Swans had most of the play. Never watching that again.

Very ordinary match from a spectator POV....most of the game played with every player huddled within a 1/4 of the oval- eagles ran with nobody in the forward half after bounce ups for most of the match. Riggs had a ton of footy today as the standout player on the pitch - enjoyed the game of Waite, Gault was solid all day and was great to see the endeavour of Reidy and Bayok throughout, We did what we needed to do against a very ordinary opposition and if not for poor accuracy would have run out even more comfortably with WC kicking junk time goals in the last qtr which I’m sure wouldn’t have impressed the coach who was looking for us to cash in late in the game.

Sorry fellas... Not the most thorough match report - I was quite bored watching this one as it was very one sided with only one side really playing to win. The one thing of real note for me on the day was the extremely poor form of Jarrod Cameron. He looked miles off the level- the WAFL level - let alone what will be required upstairs . Has he been injured? Looked extremely unfit and lethargic throughout. Pity as he has showed glimpses in the big show that he might be a much better footballer than I have previously given him credit for. Today he copped a bath playing against ex-teammates. I’d 100% expect him to be delisted if today’s effort is an accurate reflection of where he is at.
