maybe Harding could drop himself for a week instead of one of our best players if he wants to make a point.

MarkOlsen I don't think any Swans' supporter, member or player could have failed to leave Basso on Saturday who was not extremely disappointed with our performance. However, under no circumstances would the result have been different if Twomey had played. We were incapable of hitting a traget 15 - 20 metres away for most of the day.

I speculated as to why Twomey was dropped. The more pertinent point will be whether he comes back into the league in the near future. I can remember de Corsey being dropped to the reserves and being left to languish for game after game there; hopefully, this will not happen to Twomey.

Listen to 91.3 tomorrow evening and see what Harding and Twomey have to say.

A few weeks ago there was a comment or two about Faulkner and whether he should be playing in the league team. It would not be fair to single him out as there were very few contributors out there on Saturday but his game on Saturday was dreadful. I don't think a player's future should rest on one game and he probably should be given the chance to redress his performance next Saturday in the league team but he would certainly want to improve. That last comment applies to virtually the entire team.

Who do you think should come in from the ressies and who should go back to the ressies?

i'd get rid of the coach today firstly....

Lobb should be playing as well as Twomey which is a no-brainer..

we have the cattle, they just dont play for the coach - we have no run or spark in our game..

Given our financial position it would be difficult to sack Harding.

So Lobb and Twomey come into the league side next Saturday who is going to go down to the ressies? So you think that Lobb is going to make all the difference as Twomey has played in all our other games? Let me hasten to add that I am not personally blaming out indifferent performances on Twomey.

With respect to our specific performance on Saturday are you suggesting that the players deliberately miskicked 15 metre passes to ensure that Harding would be sacked?

Twomey won't be back next week I've heard as Harding and him had a disagreement

Turtle do you know this for a fact or was is just a rumour?

Fact - The disagreement part. Wouldn't know about him not returning.

Most of the time when players who are capable disposers have poor disposing games, it's generally due to the system and/or confidence.

We have a high possession game plan. Only once this year have we lost the disposal count and that was by just 10 possessions to Claremont - a game where we were belted by 10 goals.

All it takes is a few players to have off days or the opposition to lay high pressure (on Saturday I thought the 1st quarter intensity was quite high), the problem can spread and you're left with a team full of blokes under pressure and without confidence. It's the price you pay for a gameplan so dependant on good disposal.

We're not talking some outlier poor disposals that can be blamed on no more then player error. We're talking about a whole system breaking down.

The great man Percy summed up the game to a tee on Sport FM this morning ..Swans were absolutely disgraceful & this wishy washy game plan of racking up meaningless possessions every week needs to be thrown out the window ASAP!
