From reports SDFC have fortunately made themselves $$$$ secure to get through the pandemic but can say the same for our northern cousins in Joondalup.

Look I hate the other clubs BUT no club should face ruin. I hope the WAFC chip in and keep the clubs afloat.

There just has to be an Eastern & Hills suburbs presence and a familiar black & white jumper - logical stuff really
John Cooper did so much work in getting Swan Districts to where they are and it would be tremendous injustice to blokes like John Todd who brought the vision to life way back in 1977

According to the 2019 Annual Report, Swans now have over $800,000 in the bank as opposed to almost $415,000 at the same time the previous year.

Cash in the bank is not the measure to go with. Most of those funds are Grants in advance for the VSwans program which has to be spent or given back.
Swans retain a management fee for running the programs that are the subject of the grants. Income they are g'teed whether there is football played or not.
Last year that management fee was $200k+.

Not bad for a club who hasnt moved for big bucks, used a dodgy deal for income or had an alignment. My mail is senior players have been guaranteed their contracts even if the season doesnt go ahead.
