Yep, its planned actually... I have tried to emulate the categories from FG at this stage to make for an easier transition (for when FG dies). Its one of the reasons I chose the domain OzFooty.net but still have a major emphasis on WAFL.

Mrs. Admin follows Footscray, so might have to add (reluctantly) some VFL/AFL at some stage.

No worries, as I mentioned, I aim to keep the site with more emphasis on WAFL...

Good stuff on the new site guys ..I would also recommend we have an amateurs & country footy section as well as the amateurs especially are extremely popular on FG.

Totally agree with the SANFL idea, but would also like to avatsr alongside name to include who you follow locally and AFL iE: A SWAN AND A MAGPIE FOR swans supporters and collingwood(if poster happy with this idea.
my example would be Subi Lion (first picture) and west coast eagle(second) as I follow WAFL & AFL in that order.

Certainly something we can look into down the track as soon as the layout and the general direction is set for the site.

We are experimenting with the template and layout at th moment. I'm going to have to look in to installing the anti spam modules tomorrow.

I've actually been taken by suprise by how many people have dropped by to have a play with the site... definately spuring me on to do more!

I may not post much to FG, but I very much enjoy reading the posts. As I no longer live in WA its a good source of info for the WAFL in general.

At this stage, there is quite a bit of behind the scenes work happening with the anti spam trapping to ensure stability which is now in place.

Over the next few weeks I will work on the interface and intergrate other bits and peices.

The forum is up and usuable though....
