have to say that was a fitting end to what has been a poor season 
it would have taken only one batsman to just knuckle down for less than an hour
and eke out just over 30
that would have seen a fourth straight final 
there needs to be some harsh calls on players
such as Bancroft who sat out over more than 20 overs and made 49 in two goes
but there's more who need spells in grade cricket to ignite them again
time to blood the kids full on 
last place geez 
talk about crap

 

What about the shambles as to who has qualified to play South Australia.
Victoria finished with four wins, but Qld three.
Yet QLD get to play SA in the final.
Having bonus points takes over from actual games won.
work that out.

Really a raffle for the final spot, 34 runs was the difference between WA finishing 2nd or last. SA have been the stand out team this year, everyone else was pretty crap. if Queensland win the Shield it will be highway robbery really. Uzzie seems to have got on the wrong side of their management because he missed the last game with a " hamstring issue" and went to the Grand Prix instead. Wonder if he'll get picked for the final?

I am not sure it would just be the management either. Ireckon a few players might just Poff as well.

How can QLD be playing!!! Stupidity at it's best. But, it is CA after all.
 

34 runs that , really , should have been put up by some of the more well paid squad members
far too many meek dismissals and on too many occasions though this year
eventually a refresh will occur but given the drastic drop off something has to snap
time for a look at Hoogenboezem up top
might have to get some specialist coaching into Curtis before he loses confidence & touch
Goodwin needs some tough coaching as does Fanning they're getting good starts
it's the batting we've got issues there
