Well done Hurricanes, clearly the best team all year. Mitch Owen may end up with a few contracts as a result of that innings. Credit to the Thunder for battling through to the final after losing 2 key players from that horrific collision in Perth.

Its official, Behrendorff off to the 'Gades on a 3 year deal. Scorchers chasing Joel Paris to come back west.

Not a bad thing for the Scorchers imho, as no 35yo should be getting a 3 year deal as good as Behrendorff has been over the years!

Totally agree BH.....as good a player as Behrendorf is or was.....at 35 yrs of age,  a 3 year deal is bonkers....reckon he will be injured for most of it. Hopefully the Scorchers can look within and show some faith and play some of their youngsters.

Great knock by Owen, but geez some of that Thunder bowling was garbage.....but hey you can only play what's put in front of you....11 sixes is pretty good tonking.
